The Department of Licensure and Certification inspects facilities and organizations for compliance with regulations and investigates consumer complaints regarding healthcare services. Licensed or certified organizations include but may not be limited to nursing facilities, inpatient and outpatient hospitals, home care organizations, hospice programs, dialysis facilities, clinical laboratories, and managed care organizations.
